Looking at Jonak website, I saw those nice heeled ankle boots. I like their simple and clean lines, enhanced by golden metal elements. No luck, the first time I went to the store to try them, they were out of stock! But the second time was the good one, and I don't regret having waited for them as they are to die for! They are perfect with a dress or trousers, and are really comfortable. My crush of the season!
I love heeled shoes as they elongate the legs and make, I think, a beautiful silhouette, but let's be honest, when it comes to running from subway to RER, flat boots are a must have! I was shopping at La Vallée Village few weeks ago and I had a big crush on these flat boots at Diesel store. I totally fell for the mix of leather, metal and tartan! I love tartan printed, and since the primary where I had my first kilt! So when I saw those shoes it was love at first sight! Leather and loops give them a kind of rock style, and zips on side make life much easier, which doesn't spoil anything!
Love derby kind of shoes, especially when it comes to heel models. I find them very feminine and elegant. I love wearing them with a skirt or dress, casual or dressy one, but also with black pants to go to work because I think it looks very professional and sophisticated. I bought them at Minelli there is two years ago I think, but they have similar ones at the moment. What made me fall for this model, besides the form, is the mix of smooth and textured leathers. It gives them a little something that I rarely see. Heels are not too high and there are platforms at the front which makes these comfortable shoes.
Suede is a relly nice material, very comfortable to wear. The only downside is that it's difficult to clean it and that even waterproof suede shoes are damaged by water ... Not really convenient when you have a rainy fall!
But I still find that platform black suede are a staple of the season, the platform makes them super comfortable and stable, the color and material fit everything. You can wear them both with jeans or with an evening dress and that's what I like!
Ballet shoes are mostly in my shoe closet! I wear them during spring, summer and autumn as long as temperatures are not too cold. I find them comfortable, practical, not to mention that once again, it goes with everything. I photographed two models I particularly liked wearing this fall. First of all there is my black ballet shoes from Repetto. This was one of Repetto Christmas collection that's why you can see a golden sole and cute charms likr the star-or the medallion with a ballerina. I find them really beautiful and the black satin is a perfect for the fall and for the holiday season. The only thing is that, as with any Repetto ballerinas, the sole is very thin. So you really feel any roughness and it can quickly make your feet hurt when have sensitive feet. The other pair that I really liked wearing is this pretty blue suede pair from Minelli. I love this color! I like wearing them with black or gray, I think it really underlines their beautiful color.
The latest of my fall selection are these pretty leopard Palladium. I know that for many the leopard print looks vulgar, but by touch it can be very nice and give a Rockabilly vibe to some looks. I had a crush on this model seeing a girl wearing them on the train there are a few months now, and I was lucky to find them in sale this summer. There was only one pair, and it was my size, so I bought them! This is my first pair of Palladium. I am more a Dr Martens kind of girl, I have a whole collection (if you want to see them, leave me a comment and I'll make a special article), so I was doubtful concerning the Palladium. But in fact I think they look great! They have a sportier side than Dr Martens ones which are more rock but the leopard print add a little bit of fun which suits me! With black jeans or leather pants, it's just perfect !
