First step before starting my makeup, I clean and hydrate my skin. I then wait a few minutes until the cream penetrates and it's OK !
(Comme je l'ai acheté sur vente privée, il s'agit de l'ancien packaging. Cela correspond désormais à ce produit)
For this tutorial, I wanted to try a primer that I just bought. It's the High Definition Primer, microperfecting primer in No. 1 from Make Up Forever. It's a little bit scary when you press the pump because the product is as green as it seems to be in the bottle! I bought it to reduce redness because in winter, with the cold, my skin tends to become very red in the cheeks and on the nose, moreover I think it could be useful to cover small imperfections too! So I applied it on my cheeks and nose, but not on the rest of my face because the product tarnished the complexion and makes you look ... a little bit green! I'll let you see with the before / after photo below.
(As I bought on a private sale website, it's the old packaging on the picture. It now corresponds to the Step 1 Skin equalizer primer in No. 5)
After waiting a few seconds for the base to dry , I apply my foundation. I use the Lancôme Miracle Air de Teint No. 2. I constantly buy it since its release because I love it so much! For a uniform and natural skin tone, I apply it with the Beautyblender.
Now it's time for corrector and concealer. I use the MAC prep + prime highlighter in brigt forecast on my dark circles, and the NARS Radiant creamy concealer in vanilla that I apply in a V shape below the first one, on the top of the nose, the bridge of my nose, around the nose and on the chin to illuminate the face. Then I blend everything with the Beautyblender.
Pour finir avec le teint, je fixe le tout avec la poudre matifiante De-Slick de chez Urban Decay, appliquée avec un gros pinceau à poudre de chez Real techniques.
To finish with this part, I fix my fundation with the De-Slick mattifying powder from Urban Decay, that I apply with a large powder brush from Real techniques.
With face and eyebrows, we did the "base", which I do every day. Now up to the funniest part: eye makeup! To realize it I used the Urban Decay Naked smoky Palette and the Diamond Powder No. 7 by Make Up Forever.
I first apply an eyeshadow primer, the Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer potion, to be sure that everything will stay on place. Then I apply Thirteen, the lightest eyeshadow of the Urban Decay Naked smoky palette, on the mobile eyelid.
To have a more festive look, I decided to use Diamond Powder No. 7 by Make Up Forever which is pearly iridescence glitters with turquoise reflects. I apply it on the inner corner of my eyes and on the two third of my eyelids (only above Thirteen eyeshadow). You can use a brush, but personnaly I prefer to use my fingers to do it.
To accentuate my eyes, I draw a line with a black eyeliner near the lashes of the upper eyelid, I continued it beyond the eyelid in a flick (Sephora Eyeliner High Precision). I also used Lancôme Hypnose mascara in black on upper lashes and on the outer two-thirds of the bottom lashes (I never do the eyelashes from the inner corner because it narrows my eyes ).
Finally, the final touch: the red lipstick! Because for me, red is clearly the color of Christmas ! But for a more natural look, you can totally choose a nude or a dark pink lipstick as MAC Mehr for example.
A jeudi soir pour un nouvel article !
And here we are, you're ready to have a great Christmas while shining brightly!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial because, as I said above, this is my first one. Feel free to tell me what you think so I can improve myself, and of course let me know if you liked it!
