First of all, I hope you had a Merry Christmas! For my part, I left for a few days in Lyon where I had a great time surrounded by my family. I took advantaged of these small vacation to prepare this article on my December nail polishes. It's been a while since I had spoken about it but with the arrival of winter, Christmas and my Mini Mani Month advent calendar from Ciaté, I fell again into it! So here is a selection of the nail polishes I liked to wear this this month.
To be a little bit more festive, I used some bow stickers made by Andrea Fulerton that I found at at Sephora. You just take it off the board gently with tweezers, apply them on nail polish, press with your finger and add a layer of top coat to finalize everything. To remove it, you will simply need to maintain your cotton soaked in your classical nail polish remover a few minutes on your nail (same principle as a glitter polish).
Another favorite of December is the OPI Malaga Wine. This is a red blood, rather dark and deep, very elegant and sophisticated while remaining easy to wear. I loved to wear this color during fall, I also wore it for Christmas and I feel that I will continue to use it much in the months to come! Again, the formula makes it very easy to apply and stays easily one weeks without chipping with a base coat and a top coat.
Rouge Noir de Chanel et OPI Today I accomplished Zero
Mon dernier vernis favori est en réalité un duo de vernis puisqu'il s'agit de la combinaison du Rouge Noir de Chanel et du Today I accomplissez Zero d'OPI.
My latest favorite nail polish is actually a duo as it's the combination of Chanel Rouge Noir and OPI Today I accomplish Zero.
I first apply one layer of base coat and then the Rouge Noir polish from Chanel. According to the result that I want, I apply one or two coats. With one layer of the Rouge Noir and one layer of the OPI polish, the dark red color really stands out, with two layers of the Rouge Noir and one layer of OPI, it really pulls on the black and red highlights of the Rouge Noir will hardly be visible except in bright light. In the photos below I chose to apply two layers.
I hope you liked this article and I wish you a very happy new year celebrations because it's only in three days! I won't post on Thursday, but see you next Tuesday for a new article, the first of 2016!
